The planned area is 42 square kilometers. The planned coordination area is 70 square kilometers. There is rich land resource. It is flat with the sea level of 4 meters. The stratum – mainly sandy loam, which is very stable and is proper for construction.

Jianshan New Developed District lies by the Dajianshan Mountain, Fenhuanshan Mountain, Gaoyangshang Mountain to the north and by the Qianjiang River in the south with a total length of river bank18 kilometers, which will be made into a tour area along the river.
Jianshan New Developed District is a place where the tidal bore began to come into being. You can enjoy the Source of the Tides, Cross Tides, and Bounce-back Tides, so it is another new place of interest of Haining Tidal Bore.
